Spot Prawns are caught in the inner bays and passages of Southeast Alaska.  They are known to be among the sweetest shrimp on the planet.  They are caught in pots instead of nets in order to produce the most sustainable catch!  Note: These are not farmed shrimp so they will vary in size and may have some roe attached to the shell. The flavor of Wild Spot Prawns is unsurpassed in the world of shrimp and the roe is a sweet/salty delicacy that can be eaten raw, added to a sauce or boiled to make shrimp stock.

Your order will be made up of two and a quarter pounds of head-off, glazed and frozen Alaskan Spot Prawns. Serves five people generously.
